To prevent new players from being banned wrongly.

Don't know if something like this is already being discussed, but here it is.

Basically this is simple, new players join the server, pick up anything they see and will use it. Unfortunately people hack, and what they hack goes into the hands of other players, then more players after the previous and it keeps going on and on like a chain reaction. The Dev. Team should add something in-game to all items, weapons, vehicles, etc. that aren't allowed to be used on DayZ. Now, if they pickup the item, weapon, etc.. they should not be banned due to bugs that we all know occur. The line should be something like this.

WARNING: The item you have just obtained is not allowed to be used on DayZ, please report it now to server staff or drop the weapon where you found it, if no server staff are on.

Take me for example, I am new here and don't know what I can use and cannot. I used the wiki, but that is just a hassle for players to Alt-tab and look at that everytime they find something.

First of all nobody has been ever banned for using hacked weapons or cars, if you havent spawned them to the game yourself. We have killed 3 hackers and used their weapons and cars and still no bans on sight, you know why? Because if they are rare weapons you cant find ammo for those so you will run out of ammo sooner or later.

So i repeat you CANT get banned for using hacked weapons or vehicles. Stop spreading stupid rumors you [Redacted]

Get your fact's straight before making post's. Just think if some hacker would spawn some AKM in barracks and you would pick it up like "sweet akm" and you would get banned? There's no logic for it.

Have you forgotten there are already people who have had bans lifted for being caught with gear that isn't supposed to be in the mod? To get a ban lifted one must first receive a ban.

AKM is in the game, that's not what he is talking about. What if someone spawned a tank and you crawled in and went on to blow up Cherno? It would be nice to have an official list of the items/vehicles/bearasses that are legit.

As for your 'ignorant fuck' comment, do you talk to people like that offline too? I can only imagine you have a lot of broken teeth.

Only BE will give you a ban, and BE will only ban you if it detects YOU spawned the weapon ingame yourself.
