Solo activities during the day.

So, for those of us who go play solo, what do you do during the day/evening when the gangs start showing up?

Do you just go for the villages? Farm deer stands?

Looking for worthwhile stuff to do that doesn't involve running into gunfire (all military areas)

Looting deerstands and hunting for meat is what I do solo most often. But when I get bored, I go North, avaoiding "hot" spots and find some beautiful landscapes. I just wander and travel :) When you got your gun, bottle, hatchet, knife and matches, youre pretty autonomous and can last for months if you are careful enough to avoid bandits. Plan your waypoint through bushes and woods. Stop every 5 minutes and scan horizon and land for ambushes. Don't use flashlight in the night. Good luck and take care, man.

Well, im plenty capable of staying alive and avoiding hot spots, but its quite boring just going about without a destination, and deer stands have been sadly empty lately.

Almost hoping for an honorable death at some point so i actually have something to achieve by going through towns :P
