Tecludo 0 Posted July 17, 2012 Hi, first, i have to say im spanish and me english is too bad.I usually play with a friend on server US 799 hosted by team 2000.We have 2 campounds. The fisr in the nort and the other on a hill. Me friend was playing yesterday and been afk for 2 minutes. When him is bak is dead with only 3 ppl on the server. When he come back to the compund, with 3 tents, a pickup one wuad and a tractor, all is stealed.Today, i want to see the first tent, and when i look at the map to mark the situation i see a server mark on the spot with the name "tent". mtuckner 46 Posted July 17, 2012 (edited) How the hell is this admin abuse? I'm tired of you incompetent players who can't tell legitimate play from hacking and exploiting versus admin abuse. People like this are creating an adversarial environment between players and admins (who are forking over money to allow you a place to play). Furthermore, the incompetent staff at DayZ are taking reports like these and taking restrictive action over servers above and beyond what is useful to prevent admin abuse. The real abuse is people abusing this forum to air every last gripe with paranoia filled complaints from people who can't comprehend the possibility that their camp was discovered by random chance or someone hacked. Admins don't have the power to locate your camp, and it's not a "server map message" it's just a map marker you dimwit. Anyone can place one down. When i log i have a mark on the map, in the spot of me tent, and i dont place it.Well i am a server admin for us 386. ive found a couple peoples camps and marked tent where it was just to make them panic and get a laugh out of it when its gone the next day. Also along with that, i constantly prey on my servers residents. are these signs of admin abuse? Just because i want to play the game the way i did before i was a admin? I dont believe so. Skydive (DayZ) 71 Posted July 17, 2012 (edited) The funny thing is, the subject of this post is accurate. This IS admin abuse. Server admins are taking a lot of abuse over false accusations. I love how many of these posts you come across where it is the players FIRST post and have been playing the game for 1 week or less.
