"Wait For Host"

I have the latest beta patch, and the game is fully updated to 1.7.2.3 but whenever I join a server I get "wait for host" and it never loads, or does anything. Any fix for this?

We are ticked off because the same message over and over and over again every time you try to join a server is pretty fucking annoying.

This problem seems to be going around quite a bit; I have this problem too. The solution I have found so far is to search for a server that actually allows me to play and wait for a possible fix.
