And in the process you claim that Stary Sobor is yours and only yours to loot. I will go there, I will loot, Deal with it. Interaction with other players is not impossible, far from it. So what is so special about this zone, except from the fact that you've called dibs on all the loot and that you patrol it?

I love the idea of a free zone, but your mistake is claiming an area as your own exclusive zone. Don't get me wrong, I love that you are trying it, but people will not like it (not in a whiny way, but more in a "haha, let's go steal their shit" way). :)

I like the idea, either it will be fail or not - but it is something new :). But if it was supposed to be a trading area ( i don`t see any other interaction between players, where you need safety ) - it just doesn`t need to be SO large. 1 sq.km free zone + 0.5 sq. km exclusive (aprox) - it is too damn big. For safe interaction between players a small area, for example Construction Site building, Big Red Barn of even a market will be enough. And as you understand, to protect such small area will be way easier.

So as a variant - as you want to control Stary anyway - you can make safe zone in the Red Barn or in the market.

It's big because of how the terrain is and to allow people a large entry area so we don't herd people into a bandit kill zone. We do not claim to keep you safe in the outskirts of the zone, the big hill in the center should be the really secure area.

As for the exclusive area, we are likely going to drop that part as some other groups would like to join us if we drop that claim.

I don't mind the claim of turf so much, just drop the rules of people looting it. Make it so any bandits in there will be KoS but Survivors can go through there on their own.

As I said on reddit, I like the general direction of the idea. But this is absolutely terrible implementation.

You're going to get ruined by anyone with any sense because you're being a douche about it trying to privatise a good place for loot.

G.o.C have the intentions to aid survivors and honestly punishing players for entering stary and novy sobor. I recommend you change your plans or you'll bring us down to liberate the area

So did you just claim a chunk of land with a handful of guys? And then say that survivors are subject to "penalties".

Have fun with this. If by somehow my group of 12-15 ever play on your server you may be in for a rude awakening.

So a lot of tall talk from bandits. Anyone got any claims of actual action or is it just all 'I'm gonna'.

Whoever said a helecopter raid was coming, could you send one to my survival outpost too? It would be really nice.

Guys, it's obvious that claiming loot zones is going to cause you all a lot of trouble. If you establish the zone out of good graces, it will be less attractive of a target to organized raids looking to get the loot that spawns in the exclusive zones. Also, you'll be perceived as the good guys, so random people will be more likely to fight for your cause if things get rough. You're also a (hopefully big) militia. Team up with some other factions and make at this trade zone THE thing players come to Norway 1 for. You could establish a market meta game and be adored by the entire player base. I implore you, do NOT mess this up by trying to make a profit from this. Devotion and allies is way more valuable than a couple more guns and beans.
