DDaron 38 Posted July 16, 2012 For this to work you need to play on a server with nameplates on and the guy needs to have a non generic name (no John, Jack etc). How to do it: Take note of his name before engaging. If he backs out add his name as friend in 'DayZ Commander'. You can now see which server he hops to.Join his server and welcome him for a nice surprise!

Jorden 63 Posted July 16, 2012 Sounds like something an 8-year-old would do. Just leave it be and continue on your way.Nameplate servers are for newbies anyway.
Sephka (DayZ) 51 Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) I will probably never do this. I would just chalk it up to another person bitching out of his deserved death and move on.However, you've made the case for me to download DayZ Commander now. This friends list sounds nice. FrostDMG 398 Posted July 16, 2012 you can use DayZCommander to stalk people Is what you're basically saying
KarinjaNinja 80 Posted July 16, 2012 From what I understand DayZ commander friends list only works IF the other person also has loaded DayZ commander and joined a game through that. I have tested it with a friend and if he joined a game not using DayZ commander then his name wouldn't come up in friends list.So to your point it might not work in every case.
dallas 5195 Posted July 16, 2012 It's like something a merciful hunter would do, follow a deer's bloodtrail, to end it's missery. It's like charity.

joemiken 16 Posted July 16, 2012 I like DayZ Commander just for the filtering options. Wish SixLauncher would include stuff like this, especially the ability to save favorite servers.
