Without giving away server locations where are the most interesting places you've seen camps set up in game? I had just respawned after being sniped off my bicycle (that’s another story) found a barn with three tents set up inside the barn fencing ...thought it was pretty creative I almost missed it.

That seems like a pretty horrible place for a camp lol.

found a 10-15 tent camp in the Lumber Yard in Bereznio (sp) along with a UAZ in the little mechanical shop there too. Seems like a completely obvious place, but if I hadn't been running to the shop to loose aggro I probably would've never even guessed to look there..

That seems like a pretty horrible place for a camp lol.

lol that's what I thought but how many people run up and down the west tree line looking for camps or at mountain tops ... seems less likely place to look... but so close to the starting coast I found odd.

Found a small camp under a bridge on the east coast by Solnichny. I was actually looking for a good place to log off for the night and came across two under the bridge. One was empty, but the other had a ton of medical supplies & food.

It was on a Clan server, by black lake in the cove. Had barb wire surrounding the place with one opening. Had about 5 vehicles, with 40+tents... they duped the shinanigons out of them but I made work of them. Pretty cool set up, but I ended up killing half their clan that Day raiding them.

Its a good spot, but the spot is now been given away, and too many server hoppers.

Epic... and ya server hoppers will find your tent if its in an easy place ..we were going to set up atop a mountain peak over looking the coast logged into server we play on ...their were tents there already ...tried 3 more in a row ...three more camps. So we are currently looking for something "out of the way"

Favorite thing to do when I find a tent city? Make sure it's safe then take all their items and just dump them on the ground.

Last time I did that I got shot on my way out taunting in side-chat and then the server restarted. When the server came back online I rushed back to the tent city to find it entirely gone. Strange but that poor admin was clearly madbro.

Barb wire seems rather pointless at the moment if they are hopping servers to find you they are just going to hop inside your wire =/

I just built a camp using barbed wire with five tents inside so dangerous, that I have even died trying trying to access them. There is only one way in and one way to navigate through them. If you do it wrong, you will at least break your legs and pass out,, and probably die.

that's the irony of tents and this game lol ...you put the AS50 in the tent because your afraid of dying and losing it .. yet someone steals it anyway and didn't even get to enjoy it.

I found a tent north of Electro next to a raod the other day. I think someone left it as a joke because I looked inside it and all I found was a collection of tin cans. Still made me lol, as I imagined some noob jumping for joy at finding a tent and expecting to hit the mother load only to be met with a pile of empty cans. So funny in fact I might do something like that myself one day:P

Though if you were trying to do a play on words, sorry to say, it was pretty bad.

And I found a camp... In cherno, near the church, in a little alley. It was 4 tents with awesome stuff in them for someone who had freshly spawned (It had a couple winchesters, enfields, m1911s, revolvers, compasses, maps, food, drinks, medical supplies, well everything to start off perfectly. Didn't even need to loot the town after that.

I'd be wary of any tent with open view to especially outside of a major city sounds like a sniper trap to me lol

I cant find any caves on the banks of Black Lake. Is it in the area around it?

I have never understood the need to hoard stuff unless your a squirrel, but this would allow me to ask:

1. Is there a limit to how many items can spawn in game? (IF limited does that mean you server hop to get a wide range of gear?)

2. Do Camp builders / Teams find all the best stuff and stow it away from needy players? (Making it harder for other players to balance playing?)

3. Do you guard them all the time?

4. What happens when the server restarts? (how come it dosen't reset items)

5. Will Zeds reset in the general area? or is this specific to buildings only)

1. Items spawn regardless of being hoarded

2. Usually yes, in case they die or someone new joins the crew and needs gear

3. Not unless someone feels they've nothing better to do

4. All items in tents and vehicles are saved if you save the tent/vehicle prio to restart

5. Zeds only spawn on buildings and not tents/cars

And don't choppers only spawn once? does that mean you Hop?
