So.. earlier today I found a truck hidden in a forrest. When I investigated the truck I found it loaded with pretty much every single highend weapon you could ever desire, med supplies, mags, tents and so on. I seemed obvious that this had been gathered by multiple people judging by the sheer amount of items in the URAL.

Thinking I struck gold, I switly relocated the URAL in the cover of night to share the spoils with my friends later on.

As one of my friends was making his way there, the server was taken down and I noticed an admin had come online in the player list.

I relogged instantly and found that the truck I had been "guarding" seconds ago had now disappeared, and shortly after, I found myself back in the lobby again.

I logged onto the server once again hoping I'd find the truck back where I left it, but as my character spawned, it got killed instantly, loosing the goods I had aquired.

Needless to say, I'm pretty frustrated now - especially as I have no evidence to support my story. If nothing can be done, I merely wish to warn others:

Don't steal from [fc]Afr0samuray *Admin* on FR45. It will get you killed.

*sob*

Stuff like this is getting sad to hear about.

Admins just need to accept their stuff is vulnerable like every other player/groups is.

I just don't know why "they" do it (I realise there are plenty of wonderful admins out there who does a great job. My beans to you).

Is it because they are scared of the competition of other well-armed players? Or is it because someone has to pay for the inconceivable theft they've been subject to?

I don't know. I know as I don't have any evidence there wont be much one could do about it, but I just wish it was something that could be looked into as a general topic (Knowing there are other posts about it).

I like to take the game seriously as well - spend the time to get good gear, and then something like this happens. Just makes me wanna throw in the towel. Had it only been a bug, I would have been fine with it as alpha is alpha, but this way of handling things from an admins side just baffles me.

They're doing it because they can. And because they, most of the time, get away with it.

Assholes like that are the reasons have these crazy rules. Only because some people feel entitled to cheat, I can not kick players from my own server to make room for a friend.

Did you happen to save the truck? Because it will just automatically teleport back to where it was last saved unless you save it yourself. Oh and admins don't have the power to kill anyone with controls. Only hackers do.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It does seem that there are more instances being reported of server admins abusing their position. Fortunately I think they're still in the minority. Most admins are fair and provide an invaluable service to the community. Those I thank unreservedly.

something similar happened to us yesterday on LU15 ... we got in a fight with the server admin, and when we were about to win everybody gets kicked from the server, when we were able to log back in we heard the vehicle we were fighting for driving away in the distance and the rest of the group that we didnt kill was gone...

Yeah I saved the vehicle before I moved up a hill to watch for enemies while my friend moved closer, then the disconnect at it was gone.

I don't know exactly what is within the powers of admins, but I logged on the second time and it said in the chat that I had been killed, and I briefly saw -88,000 blood (100,000 damage in other words) and a broken leg before I got "you have died".

I guess it's a lovely mix of an upset admin with a few codes up his sleve :P

You win some, you lose some, but these cases are just frustrating as heck. *veryangrysurprisedface*
