Something less musical happened to me and my buddies 2 nights ago. I wish I had screen shots or a video, but sadly everything happened so fast I wasn't even thinking straight when this happened.We were driving through Dolina when our trucks wheels broke. We were stranded in Dolina with waves of Zeds coming at us. It was actually really fun and gut wrenching. We were having a blast protecting the truck while looking through the town for a wheel as quickly as we could. We get to this red brick building, the one you can actually go inside, when all the sudden the entire town blows up. Every building turns into rubble then we get literally 15-20 "[Name] was killed" messages appear and finally the "You were killed screen" comes up. Apparently a hacker killed just about everyone on the server by calling airstrikes to every city or something - I don't even know truthfully. We managed to get back to Dolina but at this point our truck was beyond broken and we just grabbed what we could from it and left it there since we had no items to fix every single part. Sad day in Dolina indeed. After all of our adventures, it's sad to go down like that. Seems like you guys had a pretty sweet camp going on too. Sorry for your loss. Even before DayZ there were hilarious ways for hackers to fuck up everyones game in Arma2.This must be the only game engine i know where a hacker can fucking take control over server functions like this, and frankly i don't think it's easily fixable - because if it was, this sort of thing had been made impossible years before DayZ. Cdrive 60 Posted July 16, 2012 Yea unfortunately most anti-cheating protection systems are pretty crappy but I think using a second rate anti-cheat system like battle eye is really starting to show on the game. They need to figure something out because this isn't the type of game where someone cheats and kills you in CoD or hacks items on their own characters, these are cheats that ruin OTHER people's invested time.
