thederekkk 1 Posted July 15, 2012 So i logged into this server and upon doing so i spawned in cherno at night. Well i wen't in and my screen all of sudden was super bright like day time. I was like W00T! then i was like OH SHIT cause i saw the big raging fire. well i sat for about 10 mins and it didnt go anywhere, so i proceded to loot the city. GO all the way done looting very well geared now and started moving north. And im scared to move fruther north because that is where the fire is and i dont want to run into it and be dead ha. So im curious if this is a glitch, or a hack, or can someone please explain why this is happening. The admin is not in the server ( doesn't have (admin) next to anyones name). thederekkk 1 Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) It literally looked like hell on earth lol. I think i took an SS gimme 1 sec. No SS, i guess it didnt want to take. But it literally looked like hell on earth, the flames where so high i couldnt look at them all the way but they were def flames, it was wavering back and forth and multi colored orange and red. meta87 25 Posted July 16, 2012 Im pretty sure DayZ does not have burning forests and grass where fires will spread.I have seen this a lot. It is due to a hacker dropping a nuke or some form of bomb on the server or all over the place on the server.Flames are everywhere you look and are bigger than the trees and buildings. Maxbrokeaway 0 Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) JP is my friend, and he's not a hacker...that's my team's server and we have had problems with hackers as of recently...but they are being banned as they are found.
