Killed two people but their bodies disappeared and I have 0 murders?

I killed two guys at the NW airfield, but after they died their bodies disappeared and it says I still have 0 murders and 0 bandit kills. Is this a bug or did they try to disconnect as they died?

They probably disconnected as they died.

I bet it was a DC. Lots of people love to DC. And if a person DC's right as they die, it won't count as a death, murder, or kill.

I had a similar situation but in my case the body was there but neither i or my buddy got the kill....weird? The player didn't dc or pull the plug or whatever either, he took it like a man, well he was ill equipped for that region anyway so ithink he didn't bother.

often they will be dead, they just do it out of habit. if they didn't die, then they spawn knocked out on the next server, and basically have to hope that they dont bleed out before regaining consciounsess, or they beg a firend to bandage them.

the benefit to dcing is for them to get out before being shot. some poeple dc soo fast, that if you dont hit them with the first bullet, its too late. they make a macro key for alt+f4.

They could remove the alt-f4 function so you have to take the long route by escape/abort/disconnect.

I think the most plausible fix might be a 10 second delay between disconnection and survivor selection to abort. Though I don't know how possible it would be to implement.

As an alternative note it would probably be possible to replace an ALT-F4ed player with a stable NPC "husk" for 10 seconds so they don't get any benefit from cheating away.

It would resolve pvp as well as pve problems in a few ways, though I'm sure it's bound to provide more bugs too. Good luck to those resolving this lol.

I also today killed 2 people and i got the 2 kills but there wasent any body for me there, not sure if its a bug or if its them alt+f4 that makes this happen.
