How can I communicate?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

walking around in elektro, 3 guys killed the zombies around me, and said "hello" to me.

Because I had no idea how to response, they killed me.

So my question is:

how can I "activate" my mic?

thanks for your answers,

Julian

Check your ArmA 2 control settings.

There's a button called "Direct Communications Chat" or something like that. Simply bind that and talk.

Me and all my friends either use Skype or Steam, that way no one can listen into our conversations and plans.

check at options > audio (VON,microphone set at full)

options > control set bind for microphone.

or you can use the universal body language system if you know what I mean ;)

The problem with doing the salute or "sideways dance" is that you're vulnerable to an attack when you do.

Also microphone is referred as Push To Talk in the menu. :P

Edit : unfortunately yeah but you can always die while saluting and with a smile on your face.
