Already finished 6 episodes of the survival of the fittest serie, Update the OP to make this thread a bit up to date :)

Sotf episode 1 was my first cinematic i made with the arma2/dayz editor.

watch this.

tutorial about free cam in arma 2 editor.

you need to start dayz and then go in the editor.

under civilians youll find zombies.

to make a character running use waypoints in the editor.

to give characters weapons youll need to script.

its not easy and youll need to tweak alot.

so dig deep in the editor, and use google to search on arma2 editor questions.

only used this script.

this way you can add weapons and magazines.

searched aturoial video for you

and here you can find the weapons and ammo names

and a video how to use waypoints.

for the rest of your ideas is best to use google what you want to achieve.

i also just started with the arma2 editor:)

well i have made this the other day as a little test but now i will use ingame footage and the editor thingy my son has just gone to sleep so going to try have a go in it now

started some more testing with civilians shooting zombies. for a new movie/sequel.

not easy becouse the civilians and zombies are both neutral.

but kinda got it right. bit too much hate on the civilians side:P.

would be nice if it was posted on frontpage, but some things in the movie arent similar as in the dayz mod.

started with the second movie. but still need to get somethings right in the editor.

the second movie is going further with the sniper dude. there will be again some familiar dayz gameplay elements in it. this time teamplay.

not going to spoil more.

but i dont think they are going to place it becouse it has some different elements in it then you can find in dayz,

im hoping more creative people are going to create movies this way instead of the standard gameplay rofl movies.

ill keep an eye on it.

this tutorial is also usefull.

the editor likes to change faces of the character after preview. with this you can set the face you want so it wont change.
