WC_Ente 0 Posted July 14, 2012 So before I go on writing you should stop here and read before u post cause i dont want this thread to be messed up with alot of childish bandit posts....The reason why I started this thread is that I got killed in Chernogorsk today. It is not the actual incident that annoyed me, because I wont lie I´m a bandit and not even a very friendly one. Actually I laughed my ass of while that stupid guy on DE104 Eu10 shot 10 bullets with a AS50 at me and only 1 hit, but the circumstances are so fckn* ridiculous! WHY IN THE HELL shoot somebody from lets say 250-300m who carries a flashlight and is obviously completely unarmed. I had like 25 murders and 15 bandits kills before my character died(Debug Plains :/) but I never killed unarmed or AFK Players. So if there are some serious bandits outthere who are not just killin everybody and campin´ in cherno or elektro all day I would like to hear your opinion about the topic of senseless newbie camping. zipper 69 Posted July 14, 2012 If you didn't have anything why are you concerned about it? Just respawn and move on. People kill for various reasons, they do not always match your own. I wasnt annoyed at all cause like i said i had nothing of high value with me. If Cherno/Elektro were basically free loot to anybody spawning there it would remove any sense of vulnerability in those few minutes at character creation. You wouldn't have to work for anything, could just slowly stroll through town looting it dry. Also those unarmed players will soon be armed and then become a problem, it's a legit survival strategy. Animistic 9 Posted July 14, 2012 Yesterday went to Cherno with .50cal sniper covering friend who was well geared weaponswise but needed still compass and Alice backpack. Saw player popping right near my friend at northern tall apartment buildings, was about to take the shot, when noticed no weapon, would have gone to rescue him from chasing zombies had he been closer but too far away from my sniping spot.After that 2 other survivors aproached, and the leading one had M16, so without further hesitation took the shot since it was obvious threat to us. We left the place soon after that, no point sticking around further than necessary while overgeared for place like Cherno.Anyways, shooting fresh spawns without any weaponry is cheap and lame in my opinion, id rather help em since they pose no risk while still unarmed. Savagepengu 13 Posted July 14, 2012 I have killed an unarmed player... I was newly spawned and I only had a hatchet and I needed his bandage because I was about to bleed out.
