Never 237 Posted July 15, 2012 I've mixed feelings tbh.As it stands, I think the combination of loot cycling with set spawns makes it unfair, while detracting from the 'must survive' element of the mod.Loot cycling alone, its hard to maintain a hold on a location to perform it, so if you have the numbers and the organisation, cool, go for it. but when its combined with knowing EXACTLY what spawns WHERE, I think its a bit game breaking.1) it negates the moving round looking for gear.2) it negates the 'luck of the draw' excitement from finding something badass.3) its a contributing factor in the map having 'hot' spots and 'dead' areas.I think loot shouldn't be so localised. zipper 69 Posted July 15, 2012 No matter where loot cycling is performed, you will have no idea what is going to spawn. It is still random. Obviously there are places where it could be done that offer military loot, but you aren't guaranteed anything. You could end up getting the exact same weapon that you could find in a deerstand/firestation/etc.Loot cycling doesn't really have anything to do with hot spots or dead areas. Regardless of whether or not it exists, there would still be hot spots and dead areas.
disorder 344 Posted July 15, 2012 Acebane, you video doesn't explain anything at all. its just you moving between piles of loot and the voices are all fast? what the hell are you doing? Picking up and dropping between piles? Hoarding?

Picking up and dropping between piles? Hoarding?Yes, you put the loot on the floor outside the tents of stary and new junk will spawn. When new junk spawns, if it's undesirable you place it in that "loot pile" that you've created with other undesirables.
