Every single time i play spend ages getting heaps of gear then when i log off and hop on the next day i have nothing and have spawned somewhere on the coast......

Make sure everything is up to date. Only other thing I can say is that the mod is still in alpha so don't be too discouraged.

If you spawn at the coast after logging in, especially near Kamenka, log out and find another server. Eventually you should spawn at your last location. Fave servers that work, and remove when they break.

How do you fave a server using the in-game server browser? I've taken to writing down the server IDs and a keyword (eg; "FR 22" and the name of the host or provider).

type in Filter eg. FR22 and everytime it will search for FR22 untill you remove the name from the filter

Yeah, that's what I've been doing but it'd be nice to have an actual list of favourite servers - or even just a history list.

Oh, no idea on that. I'm using the Six Launcher, which is much more simple than the in-game system.

Except it has no filter options at all :P All you can do is sort via the columns, but I've not seen any options to filter based on patch number, ping, players, location etc.

try typing in filter dayz for the mod servers and if ur playing the beta try beta in the filter
