Female characters = No ghillie suit = mad

Just found my first ghillie suit, and frankly am pretty pissed. Why is it the female character can’t wear one, and is there no warning about this on the character select screen? Seems like a pretty basic thing to put onto the screen, especially when there's that bs warning that you can never change your gender, even though you can on death.

I ended up giving it to my mate, who could use it fine with the latest patch (1.7.2.3). Still pretty annoying there isn’t a single warning about it.

I think there are bigger issues. I do want there to be female skins even-truly but I think there's more important things they could be doing.

We are just testing, the technicalities don't really mater.

Could it be made so if a female does equip it becomes a male ghillie suit model? it would at least be a tempoary solution as the current skin isnt very good in the camoflage aspects.

It’s hardly trivial, that anyone playing the female character is at a major disadvantage. Just give them the male one for now as a quick fix at least. How long does adding a warning take? A whole 20 seconds?

Incredibly sexist, we obviously have to work against Rockets clear misogyny with a protest. Or just realize that this is an alpha, and Rocket hastily added in said female model due to a bunch of guys wanting to play as women in the game demanded it. It's not that big of a deal, if you want to put on the two rare spawning clothes then play as a male.
