Coyote Bakcpack Spawn Rate

Prior to a couple days ago, I've never seen a Coyote backpack on the ground. I've been playing since early June and probably put in 120+ hours, which includes many raids on Stary, NEA, NWA, Balota and deer stands. Now I'm seeing these things drop like ALICE packs. First, one of my group members found one in the south barracks I believe. Next, I found one in a tent in Stary. Finally, two other group members found one in the fire station in NWA and the hangar that is literally right next to it.

So I guess the question is, were Coyote spawns bugged before, or did they just increase the spawn rate?

I myself have only seen it in the southern barracks, never anywhere else.

ive seen like 3 or 4 in the past week at northern barracks

You have to remember, that just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean they aren't there. Someone else could have come in before you and taken it, or you could just be unlucky.

I've seen a couple on the ground before, but I find that the fastest way to get a coyote is to find someone with one and relieve him of it.

I only ever found one, and it was in the tree stand between Dolina and the factory to the north.

It's rare, but the type of item that people who server hop the barracks will never see due to the loot spawning system. For the most part I think it's just about luck.

I found one in a deer stand two days ago. First one I've seen though.

I've played about 160 hours and I've only found one once, all other times i'd just get them off other players.

I've found two, both of them from deer stands, but they're really rare. I check a lot of deer stands...

out of all the time ive played i have never seen this backpack... then you go look at streamers on jtv, and everyone has it...?

Found them except off players in cherno firestation and balota hangars.

I don't value a GPS too highly because I can navigate fine just using a compass. I'll ask my group members when I get on later, though, as I know one guy is big on having a GPS.
