    Fed up

No such thing as immersion in this game really. If you really want to improve player interactions and have it be as "immersive" as real life rather than a realstic version of Duck Hunt. Well... you gotta' make it mimic real life. There's a reason why people don't kill each other senselessly in real life. You don't have jack-of-all trades in real life. One person can't fix cars, fix helicopters (and even fly it), gut animals, operate all sorts of weapons without any training, give blood transfusion, bandage properly, etc. In real life, you find strength in numbers. You divide people into different skillsets and expertise and work as a collective group. In DayZ, you have a one-man Swiss army commando that can do anything and everything. When you need no one else to do anything for you... why not play Duck Hunt? That's how most of the kids here think, myself included lol. Also, the risk of dying is really nothing. Sure you lose your gear, but it's nothing that a few hours or days can't fix. Crash a copter or car? No big deal, a respawn is only a few seconds away. In real life, you get one chance, one life. You screwed up? Tough luck, no respawning and getting a brand new bag and a can of beans to boot. Nuff' said.
  2. The game is already boring to my buddy and I to the point that we don't really play unless our other buddies are playing, too. Lack of side chat basically just makes it an endless run through wilderness in complete silence, especially on night servers. At least on day servers, usually there's enough population to actually meet someone else in Cherno or Elektro. I don't realy care if they're friendly or hostile, I just want to do something other than hearing the grass grow.

The DayZ world is a complete wreck......

lulz, I think before anyone looks up "irony", I would try something simpler like... uh... the difference between your and you're... not saying any names who needed to do that.

The DayZ world is a complete wreck......

The irony... He's telling people to stop crying when he himself is crying about people that are crying.
  5. Some nay sayers need to go back and learn history. People ALWAYS band together, humans are just by nature, very social. That's how you get early civilizations, which then evolved to countries as we know it today. The population of humans did almost go into extinction some 640,000 years ago due to a nuclear winter event caused by a super volcano eruption (google Toba eruption). If people were to just kill each other senselessly, we wouldn't have nearly 7 billion people today.

    Backpack eating guns

You need to re-read the OP. He said nothing about not having space. It's a saving delay issue.

    bought a new PC :D

This is suspicious. There was a thread asking for a game copy just like this one just a few hours ago... Both new accounts... hmmm...........................
  8. Well shit, that CPU is such a waste with that GPU. After all, your computer is only as fast as your slowest component. The GPU is a huge bottleneck of that system.

    Zombies are seriously too fast.

Damn, lots of Steve Jobs here.... You're posting it wrong!

    Going Medic

Pretty easily solved by just dropping everything but your med supplies in a tent.
  11. I don't know about others, but the direct voice chat doesn't seem to work for me. I tested this with a bunch of my friends. They could hear me just fine through Teamspeak, but they couldn't hear anything through the game's built-in voice chat.

    Going Medic

It's nice to see a bright post in these forums for once instead of the typical complaints about PvP or complaints about complaints about PvP. I myself have been considering it for a while also as I do have quite a bit of medical supplies on me.
  13. I would say it does count as a problem. I have a friend in the same situation as you. His family cannot use money responsibly. That being said, he still helps his family out, but he doesn't give them any control over it because otherwise they'd just use up everything he has. Moral of the story here, don't give them direct access to your money. Only help them out if you think it's an absolute necessity. If they only want money to say buy a new TV, etc, just ignore them.

Ten Reasons why Kill on Sight is 'Realistic'

"You're playing it wrong", lol.... I say, "you're holding it wrong". Yes, I am Steve Jobs.
  15. Well, I don't know about others, but if you see all my posts, I don't think there were any signs of raging. I merely suggested that you have budget problems. I mean the game costs like 25 dollars or so. Even if you only manage to save 5 bucks a week, you'll have it in 5 weeks (only a month's time). Most people have trouble admitting they have problems managing their money. If you can't even save 5 bucks a week, you have other problems that you need to address.
