Wrong. This is what is happening right now. Everybody playing DayZ is currently helping to test it before it gets rolled out!

While we all expect to find "bugs" we expect the overall game to function at some level. This isn't my job. They are not paying me to test. In fact I'm paying them to test.

If the mod would be in beta, I would expect a basic functionality and stability that works underneath and barely ever sees changes. Well as this is not the case my wild guess is that its still in alpha testing. If you are not up to that because you don't think its your job, then stop playing and wait until things have stabilized.

Also you didn't pay them anything, the mod is free last time I checked. If you however bought the base game just to play this mod and did not inform yourself about the stage the mod is in or how many issues there still are before spending money, then that is not the fault of the developers, is it now?

I think there are several sections in the forum to report / discuss bugs and also suggest and discuss features. They are frequented quite often, give it a try. This is not what the OP was referring to.

Alpha is about getting feedback. We are testing the game. Crucial part of testing is feedback. Intruduce new mechanic and people will talk about it. Take it away and people will talk about it. That's what the alpha is for. To put something in the game and see what people think about it. You are the one missing the point. The point of an alpha.

I've made a post about how zed aggro could be improved and people told me to suck it up, stop complaining because it's alpha. You make it sound like you are only talking to the second kind but you threat everyone who doesn't like something like he's complaining.

I've seen replies like "stop complaining, it's alpha" under constructive criticism and suggestions.

Lol, sounds like the approach Apple uses. That's the excuse they use for Siri's suckiness even though it's supposed to be the main reasons for upgrading to iPhone 4S.

If only they keep the iPhone 4 as Beta, they wouldn't have taken as much flak they did with antennagate, too!

Guys, the only way they get feedback is from bitching. When you report something you're practically bitching. Bitching is the only way these guys get feedback. Don't hate on the bitching, also, I've seen several people talk about bugs that I haven't ran into, but I would have if I hadn't read them talking about it. So maybe lets take a step back, and look at how them talking about the bugs could save our ass, and help them advance into the development of DayZ.
