Siggy (DayZ) 95 Posted July 13, 2012 Hey guys, me and two mates were playing Dayz, we logged in near devils castle to find a guy talk over direct chat at us yelling friendly, i ended up shooting him as you can't trust anybody on this game, he also had the famous dinner bell, the 1 shot wonder weapon! So we ended up looting him and walked closer to devils castle, as we were walking i spot a person under a tree laying down, we shoot at him to find that he is already dead, we go to loot him and it's the exact same loot of the guy we just kills, so we take all the magz again and the food and blood bags, we check the name of the guy and it's the exact same guy we killed 5 minutes earlier about 600 meters away. So we take the mags from that body as well and move on to find 2 camping tents and we loot them as well.Now my question is what the hell was this guy doing? how is it possible to have two bodies with the exact same loot? me and my mates are also curious as to know what happened as we have never seen anything like this before. Scene 36 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) It is most likely a bug, I had the same thing happen to me a few days ago.I died randomly then was instantly spawned back on top of my dead body with all my loot still.My dead body on the group also had all my loot.Also there is the possibility that it is a known bug and this guy was duping his loot, but when it happened to me I figured it was just a server error since I didn't do anything. I didn't even get the option to respawn from memory.I also had a similar thing happen this morning when I logged into find myself instantly dead. I respawned and was placed directly over my dead body but had no debug menu and unable to loot anything.When I logged out and back in I was in the air falling to the ground and died from the impact.
