Claymores

You should add Claymore's to the game, that would be alot more fun, and it would make sneaking up on a sniper a bit tricky, but you could put in a item that would find the claymore and then you could disable it.

But yes, you should add claymores i think.

Breaking one's opponents legs with bear traps should suffice.

Introducing a passive weapon that can kill instantly and even multiple opponents at once would be overpowered.

Oh god please no, the griefing would be horrible with something like this, its already bad enough with the wirefenced/sandbaged buildings.

as soon as bear-traps are found it will be just as bad as claymores, plus it's every man for himself you just have to find the item that would detect claymores, or for example you could implement flash bang grenades you see a claymore throw a flash and run past it.

Many way's to counter the "It's Overpowered" argument.

Could do something like, make it as rare as NVGs, make so zombies can set it off, and let players disable it without the need of tools.

And now the kicker, 1 claymore per player. And they disappear after reset (make it like vehicles, so they reset unless you save them, and don't give the option to save them). So on server restart, the claymores go away.

So due to the rarity, they aren't that great (lets even make them take two inventory slots instead of one) and can net you either 1 player kill or 1 zombie kill. No real griefing unless you have a clan or large group set them all up, and then they are wasted the next time the server is restarted unless you go back to retrieve them.

P.S they should blow up 3 people if 3 people are near when it get's set of, or 5 it should not be limited if you make them as rare as they are, like the NVG L85 That thing is massively overpowered but it's extremely rare.

I believe they removed the L85.

Anyhow, if the range of the claymore is realistic you could kill a whole squad without an issue. But who travels around hugging the nuts of their teammates???

we need a dislike option too,

this is just going to add something that isnt necessary and is only going to make the game worst by giving people more reasons to bitch about something

c-c-c-c-COD!

Perhaps beartraps or maybe a hand made alarm system (tins + string) will give you an edge for opponents sneaking up on you. Remember, it's supposed to be a "realistic" zombie survival.
