This is a serious problem.

I just raided someones camp, took EVERYTHING there and shoved it in the back of his car and took off.

After some confusion over picking up my friend, he decides to wait in Grishno and I'll pick him up.

I get to Grishno and see him, when suddenly one of those huge rusty debris trucks SPAWNS INSIDE MY CAR.

My car instantly explodes, everything in it and everything I had is destroyed as I die.

Fix this shit.

Bright side is the server just reset so I'm heading back to the camp with my friend to check if all the shit is back.

Yeah, my group lost an offroad outside of Cherno from a bit of debris that decided to spawn 2m in front of a 110kph-traveling-vehicle.

I think it's mostly the server's fault, but I don't see why rocket can't work in some possibility for an optimization balance that might stop this from happening quite as often. Really sucks that we have to worry about silly things like this and, as such, we're stuck wasting gas driving around at 40 or 50 kph.

Actually I got back to their camp in about 8 minutes, and looted everything again, only to have my friend show up with the same stuff he looted off my body.

Debris and broken vehicles do not spawn. They are part of the map and persistent across all servers, always exactly the same. Your game lagged and the objects did not render client side until you were inside of them. Internet lag can also cause this to happen sometimes.

My one friend lagged so hard on his screen the road was clear but on ours it was not. He ended up getting a bus trapped between a bunch of broken rusted cars in a way that would not be possible to do if they were rendered on his screen.
