Kill someone who just logging in and got told i was banned

I killed this girl who logged in behind me and it said i killed her by friendly fire on server US 38. The admin told me that i was going to be banned if i didn't tell them where i killed her? Well i didn't know how to talk to the admin and i guess i got reported. Here is a picture of the girl i killed.

Just appeal your ban on the server. I don't see how that's a ban-able offense.

Was it really the server admin to threatened that? I don't think there's a stated rule about pretending to be a server admin and threatening people to give away their location so a sniper friend can take them out.

kills with friendly fire in the message only appear if smoeone is killed while spawning,he asking where you killed her to make sure it was not debug forest(or was it plains...) where everyone spawns for a few seconds during the loading processe, and it is a banable offence to kill there.

sounds like bs. in all likelyhood it was not an admin, and if he was, he probably wanted to know if you killed him in the debug forest.

its not like you weren't going to be shot the second the other player saw you, and after all, it is an alpha, i really find it hard to believe you would be banned for that.

this reminded me of a possible feature for avoiding this particular situation, perhaps the spawnee should be moved away from any nearby players on spawn, although this would put the spawner on an advantage, and until they solve alt-f4'ing, it is definately out of the question.

Really though, when the "friendly fire" message shows up, most of the time it is someone killing in the debug forest/hills. Killing in those locations IS a bannable offense, and if caught, reported, and verified, you will most likely get banned from the game completely. I'm not saying that's what you did, but it's probable that those were the thoughts running through the admins head when he saw the text.

Yep. As been posted, that message shows up if you kill in debug areas. Completely forgot about that.

But, with the evidence provided, you should be able to appeal your ban. Still kinda stupid that you couldn't communicate with the admin. But hey, who needs global chat for anything?

With an admin like that I'd just name the server so we can all avoid it, who wants to play on a server where the admins are jerks.

If you didn't do anything wrong, disregard it. If you get banned, report the server and have it shut down.
