From my experience it's either from server hoppers making sure no one can get in the area they're hopping in between servers to loot.. possibly running from a player and hiding in a building. Or they're just one of those many griefers on this game that just enjoy ruining peoples gaming experience.

Its pissing me off because I have a broken leg so I need to get inside the hospital to look for an Auto-injecter and I cant even get inside of the hospital..

There was a bug where these items were duplicated, and so some servers have them left over (i think this is the case). people will often grief and lock off sections, true its very annoying, kind of just have to switch server if 1 is being locked down.

Sadly the best way to counter this is to join the pack. Switch to another server, go inside the building you want to enter, and then switch back to the original server. This usually isn't worth the trouble though, just stay on the other server unless you really needed whatever was in the grief-ed building.

Yep, 95% of the time you will spawn in the exact same location.

As long as it's a hive server if you were playing on a hive server, or a private if you were playing on a private server you should spawn in the same position as before...

But I hate to break it to you other hospitals could be barbed wired as well so you may just have to take your time with it and stay level headed and pray that Rocket finishes the stuff about having sandbags/tank traps/wire having a decay timer.

barbed wire REALLY needs a larger hit box to take down. Everytime i get a tool box i make it a point to try to take these obnoxious things down. ive managed to see the option to take it down a whole 2 times so far.

I made it into the hospital and found an auto-injecter plus more! I can walk again along with 4 bandages, and a epi pin. Not a bad find. Thanks everyone.

Epi-pens are going to be useless to you unless your playing in a group, seeing as you can't exactly use one on yourself when your unconscious lol, I very rarely carry them around unless I'm running in a pack of 3+ people.

I've never had trouble with barbed wire, I just walk up to it, press `v` then my guy hops over. Never had a single problem, not sure what everyone is complaining about.

It is a valid tactic, but currently it is nearly impossible to remove them. Therefore spamming barbed wire in valuable locations makes high-priority areas nearly impossible to access.

Neither actually. People are complaining they can't get into every building they come across because occasionally one entrance/exit, or sometimes all entrances are blocked by barbed wire. This is not an exploit, it's a valid game mechanic and tactic. Sure, some folks are taking it too far and right now the mechanics need some tuning in terms of how long these items stay. We all know though even if the barbed wire only lasted for 2 hours people would still come on here and complain they couldn't get in a building.

ps, there is a difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit. Bonus point if you know yours.

Why don't you just "step over" it? Even if you can't walk, the "Step Over" command still works.

i cant even count how many servers i have joined where entire towns are covered in wire.

wire spamming would not be problem if it worked as intended, but it does not. most of the time you cant vault over it and the hit box to removing it is too small.

its only used for greifing or server hopping. you can defend the former if you're an asshole but there is no excuse for server hopping.

you need to aim at the inner posts and hold your reticle over it for a couple of seconds
