I see a guy in front of me with a shotgun who appears to be examining his crotch (or he could have been looting, we will never know). My countless experiences with attempting to be friendly and subsequently being killed because of it caused me to shoot him repeatedly until he died from it.Afterward my buddy said "You know it would be really great if when you killed someone their microphone automatically turned on so that you could hear them bitching about it". How would it be authentic for an unconscious or dead person to shout "Look out, there's a sniper behind that chimney!" after said sniper pops him in the head...I'm afraid your argument has very little merit to it, as it stands right now, most people are playing utilizing external VOIP programs (mumble, teamspeak, ventrilo, etc) so that conversation is already in place, and the authenticity is gone.As for OP, i think that it should be an option, allowing you to use your microphone for say 10 seconds after you're knocked out/killed.
