v1.7.2 Aggros zombies much more then usual?

I don't know what happen to my topic on this and I think I posted this in the correct section I wouldent say this is a troubleshooting problem just wondering if this is how it is and if others have the same problem, but anyways anyone notice the zombies seem to be aggroed from like 100m away and they wont even be looking at you while your at a slow crouch pace? I thought this patch made it so they cant hear or see you as much in buildings. A bit off topic but the reloading of the hachet is still a problem lol...Anyways anyone have this problem as well? Kind of almost makes it impossible to loot anything from buildings especially when you keep getting killed by asshole player killers and have to start with nothing..

The mod/game is still in alpha. But indeed the zombies get ez aggroed now.

Not so much. Sure, they can spot you from "relatively" far, but IRL comparison they must be half blind.

Yeah they definetly aggro easier from longer distanse now, kinda annonnying while i was running on bushes and suddently got zombie on my ass from village from some distance.

Well I last left my character at an airstrip near Berzino and I was aggroing almost every single one no matter how slow I was going lol...

I agree. Me and my mate are constantly getting hounded by zombies when we just simply look at a settlement. They seem to spawn directly behind us. Any way, to lighten our mood, we went on a killing spree :) But yeah, the high aggro needs to be sorted. I hope it gets sorted in the next update or whatever.

The first zombie aggro'd in this video pretty much shows how broken the aggroing is in this game. He's behind it, crawling and still gets aggro'd, its as if the zombie is psychic.

I get spotted on the reg, from like 50-75 meters if crouch running, and have been spotted a few times crawling from about 15-20 meters. Zeds seem to lose LoS a lot easier now though, or that might just be me.

what? its the opposite for me. i seem to get aggroed less by zombies and crouching seems to be better than it was. for the first time ever i was able to go through cherno without aggroing the entire damn town. i aggroed 2 or 3, but im also able to lose them MUCH easier then before so they dont stay aggroed long.

Yeah definately, I have no idea where they are coming from half the time, and I have much bigger groups of them chasing me now. So i've died more times than usual.

So its agreed that 1.7.5 was a better patch? lol. However FPS has significantly improved which I greatly say thanks...lagged a lot and I knew my pc was ok to handle this game.

Ha ha, I've said the same thing about zombies, but more in reference to when one gets aggro'd, others from a far distance who don't even see/hear you do as well... as if they have some psychic link.

Weird, though, because I've not noticed them being aggro'd more since 1.7.2 and I was just at the NW airfield where it's just crawling (no pun intended) with zeds. I stay prone, I can still get within 20 feet of 'em. If I stay crouched and move slow, which I just did through all the towns to get there and the buildings at the airfield, they don't notice me.

I'll be playing tonight and will test again, but I even took vid of me at the airfiled, dangerously close to zombies, and the only incident I had was two zombies coming from around the wall immediately, but nothing "strange" after that, and I was close to some of the bastards.

Also, supposedly their hearing through walls has been cut by 50% as of the last patch, but I'm sure there's still times when aggro, like everything else, isn't accurate and gets buggy. I'll have to see what happens tonight.

Compared to normal human vision, it's logic.

Even with the new "hawkeye" vision they are now just legally blind instead of just full blind.

You can see them at 500m they now can see you at 50-75m.

I think the new Zed's actually feel better, they see you more easily but they don't hear you as well. You can crouch run around them now so long as you don't pass in front of them. If you watch your vision number you will realize there is not a big a difference between run/walk anymore.

The main problem I see right now with Zed's is their spawn rate. I like them being harder, but you cannot clear an area of them for any period of time, they literally keep pouring out of the same building like a clown car. This breaks immersion, prevents any kind of feeling of accomplishment, is not fun, and makes the new harder Zed's really, really hard.

If it wasn't for the unlimited ammo bugs, I would be all out now from how many I need to take out now just to get in somewhere because of the crazy spawn rate.

man, i felt all good because i just found an ak74 and m1911, but then as i crouchwalked away from the firestation, here come four zombies from nowhere. so i end up using up all of my m1911 ammo, and a clip of ak74 ammo. which is aggravating, because i have never found military-grade hardware before. it's clear that zombies have SUPERvision now, and are clearly all descendants of superman. because i literally crouched in a bush and testing their vision, and while sitting dead still, in a bush, a zombie starts having a panic attack from two blocks down and starts charging me. really?

Maybe part of changes to encourage group play? If the zombies keep getting smarter than people may be too busy saving their own butts to shoot others. I don't know. I don't think it's too terrible. it is noticeable though.

I've pulled zed from about 150m give or take. Not all the zed I've encountered are that easy to aggro, dunno, something seems off...

Are respawns buggy too? I've cleared areas only to have zed spawn pratically on top of me again..... Balota med tents. Musta brought down 20+ or so because they kept spawning. That and two survivors. If you guys see this, in retrospect you may have been trying to help me, but your shots kept whipping by my head and you even clipped me once. So sorry, had to bring you down. Nivo and Dumo. Something like that.

Yeah Respawns are buggy, Ill notice more and more keep coming after Ive taken out like 10 of then in a small town

Yeah, zombie s aggro too easy now, it is next to impossible to stealth through a town anymore.

It seems to be something with their los in daylight, havent had a prblem at night. guess theyre actually seeing better during the day.
