FUCKING FIX THE CAR SYSTEM

This is the fucking 3rd time in a row we lose our cars in the time of a few days even though we hide it far in the forest.

If you sleep next to a fucking car you will fucking hear it go. Add a key system, a chance to lock the cars, chance to add bulletproof glass to make it more safe, ANYTHING to help against getting the vehicles stolen every fucking time. The only way to safely hide vehicles is to drive them out of the map but we're not douchebags so we don't do it. Fucking do something, Rocket. It's unrealistic.

Excuse my language but I am pissed right now as we lost a land rover and an ATV full of weapons and loot and left with nothing.

Hey geniuses telling the OP to cry more, there are scripts that can allow a hacker to locate all the vehicles on a server and then of course either port to them, or blow them up or do whatever else they want.

Why is it that when a vehicle goes missing (A player finds a car, gets in it, drives off) It's instantly defined as hacking.

Vehicles are fine. Hide them well, protect them, but you shouldn't be able to keep them forever just because you really, really want to.

I would estimate a 5% chance in 24h on a 40/50pl server that your car is discovered IF it is a TOP hiding place. And I am talking of very good hiding places...

Place is not obviously good to hide a vehicle. Therefore we cannot use the area east or south of the map frontier within 1-2 km range.

Car can be placed in a way that can be seen solely from certain angles / very limited distance.

Good luck finding these places... there might be just 10 of them on the map.

Every other hiding place which still meets most of these criteria has a 24-h chance of 10-20%...

The game is in alpha, don't try to hoard stuff and then complain when you lose it. Hackers are running pretty rampant right now, and you can bet your ass rocket is doing everything he can to limit them as much as possible while also working on updating the game. So why don't you just shut the hell up and wait for the fixes to come in, if you can't enjoy this game right now then go play something else. Jeez....

Cars don't disappear after restarts, sometimes they glitch and go to the last spot u got out or moved stuff to or from it. They also disappear if you don't move them once a week or so. Normal restarts don't effect cars.

I think the real reason why everybody is tantalizing OP (including myself) is because everyone has lost a lot of valuable loot and/or vehicles in the game. It's still in Alpha. He's raging. You're raging. I've raged. We've all raged. That's why this game is great: it forces emotion because of the high stress situations. It is, literally, the perfect video game. Of course, there are bugs, exploits and hacks going around, but everybody knows about them. In the future, we will have the perfect community and a flawless (or near flawless) game. As of now, just get used to the feelings this game instills when you're playing this and just remember not to freak out or get pissed off over losing stuff. When the game is finished and officially released, you'll be part of an elite group of people that will trample newfags that will be like "ZOMG HE KILLD MEH FO NO RAISIN. WHAT ZE FOOK?"

TL;DR - Relax. You'll lose everything eventually, especially when the game is officially done.

I'm sorry, but you can't just stamp "It's realistic/unrealistic" on your suggestion and it automatically gets approved. If you don't want people to take your car, find a better hiding spot for it, that or recruit people for your group so that it can have more surveillance and thus be less likely to be stolen.

In short, it isn't Rocket's job to safeguard your vehicles, it's your job.

This is not totally true. It is SUPPOSED to be true, but cars and tents are buggy. There have been 3 or 4 days where we will log in to our camp only to find either tents gone, cars gone, or cars and tents gone. Once or twice the server/hive ate them all, but usually they spawn right back after a restart.
