  • Bandaging is now a continuous action when treating multiple cuts

@Kyiara, I have already thanked various staff on Twitter, but want to also thank you for helping push forward my request.

For this feature 2 years now of begging but I never lost hope, this QoL feature would be added for us 1pp only players when browsing new community servers to try. 😍😍😍😍

I feel like the games at peek performance but I’m confused to why there still hasn’t been proper mods added to the game! Arma reforged has got them and let’s be honest they don’t get anywhere near as many players on in comparison to dayz!!!! The company has made hundreds of millions but can’t give the people what they want I’m not to fussed about hearing why they can’t do it I want to know when they are going to do it I’m starting to lose interest and it’s more enjoyable watching people play with the mods than actually playing it, I feel like a speak for the majority of consoles players

Hi, to better understand: would you like certain mods to be implemented into the game? The thing with mods is that it's often easier to make changes through them instead of directly altering the game's code. That's also why some features might not be on PC stable servers. As you probably know, everything on PC stable servers is also on consoles.

Which mods are you hoping to see in the game, and what's the reasoning behind your choices?

I feel like a mod or two would be fun to see in consoles would be drivable helicopters or airplanes. On some pc videos, the YouTuber would be flying a helicopter or maybe even a plane. I think it would be a great and fun addition to the game!

WE NEED A HOTKEY ON CONSOLE THAT TRANSFERS ITEMS RIGHT TO LEFT!!! SO WE CAN STORE STUFF QUICKER!

I, for one, would like to see more admin capabilities for server owners. 

For example this suggestion is pretty cool Feature Request - spawnGearPresetFiles linked cfgPLayerSpawnPoint.xml spawn group

Also, when we got loadouts (awesome btw) we, unfortunately, lost the ability to choose character models. 😥

If it was possible to link gamertags to loadouts that would also be very cool. 😎

Something similar too or if possible  VPP Admin tools

 

The biggest ick is having to restart servers for changes to take effect idk if that can be changed but being able to spawn in stuff while in a live server would be a game changer for console owners.

 

For non-server owners:

Stability (so good now but always can be improved)

More realism for firearms / bullet ballistics

New vehicle like a bicycle, boat, or bring back the bus

New Map?

Sorry, there are no such plans to add these.

Please Please Please remove the hitbox from Gardenplots and fireplaces so people will stop using them to boost into places. It's a huge issue for servers who allow building bases with the main building restrictions turned off. But if the player fell through them, problem solved. 

Also in addition to the 3rd person/1st person filter. Any chance we could get a filter for other things eventually like pvp, pve, rp would be an idea starting point. 

And last one, I sent it in feedback before, and I see others mentioned it already but the player spawning gear change you gave us last update is somewhat silly that it randomizes your player when you have it active. I was told this was intentional but I think everyone is in agreement that this decision makes no sense. Can we please have it changed to allow us to keep the selected custom character at the menu when you load in, allowing us to control the loadout of specific characters through the new file instead of complete random? This would allow people flexibility for events, RP servers, and a ton of other things people would be able to do with it.

Can we get more Medic inspired clothing items. Like backpacks, helmets, armbands, and plate carriers with a simple Red Cross would be great. (I'm a medic in need of medical gear)  Also it would be dope if we could get running version of the Ambulance Lorries going.

Hi, I see you are playing on community server. As you know, those are server options. So it's up to the server owner. If you don't like the way he set it up, you can either contact him and see If he is willing to change something, or look for a different server.
If I misunderstood and you wish certain functions to work differently (from the admin perspective), let us know.

Not sure if such filtering is possible, but I have forwarded the feedback.

Bicycles, rideable horses or motorcycles would be great. For RP servers would be great even police and ambulance ADA. (police wrecks are in the game, so why not to add them as fully operational vehicles)

I would  personally like to see more reskins of items, Ballistic vests need some more colors ex. Brown, if possible removing the "press" patch and having just the vest itself.

Maybe some more variants of civ clothing, oversized flannels, torn jeans, unique rider jackets. hooded variants of hoodies, raincoats.

For military gear possible reskins of all the military gear ex. a new camo patterns for gorka gear, or combat gear, also BDU's. as well as implementing the DPM boonies camo for clothes along with the Flecktarn and m81 woodland camos for military fatigues.

For specifically mods; planes and helicopters are wayyy out of the way rn for vehicles and, 2 wheeled vehicles are really hard to code as well effectively. But maybe a pickup truck that could have people in the bed and or a larger storage like the olga with 400 slots. I would also like to see weapon storage, the gun racks in game would be a very cool start but base building in a whole could use a revamp but, i feel like something like that is more down the line. Personally i would like to see attachments for backpacks and more attachments for belts, ex. Straps on backpacks to store, bottles, tripods, one weapon, arrows. For belts Flashlight loops, mag storage, leg holsters ETC. just some ideas that sounds really neat on paper and would love to see in game

in relation to community servers, I would like to see the ability to add visual groups on screen. Something where you can see the location of your squad mates.

Sorry for the late response I never expected to be taken seriously, Iv spent some time looking over the mods available on pc and I think simple mods like code locks, med packs, guns, armour, dog tags and most importantly a trader. These things would completely enhance the game and give it a better quality of life because as it stands the game is amazing but it is lacking a variety of guns and items to appreciate and save in base, on that subject base building and storage mod upgrades would be good to. Digital code locks either needs to be implemented or the way you cycle the numbers on the code lock we have just now needs to be changed for example it could be cycled with the up and down arrows on the dpad this would make it more fluid it’s a bit of a painful process just now and the dog tags would give you more of an experience in game instead of going on discord every time you need to know who you killed. I hope this has been helpfully and and I hope to see some of the things above in updates to come thank you for reading and good luck out there zurvivors

@Kyiara To expand on what OP was saying is, no clip aka build anywhere server settings community servers is the staple of the console experience and very popular considering we have no mods, build anywhere while has many pros and drastically improves the console base building and tent placement experience console it unfortunately comes with some cons, flaws, downsides whatever you want to call it, players stacking garden plots to make sky bridges, ramps, or like stairs into bases or stacking fireplaces like stairs to get into bases or boosting as we call it,

What OP is suggesting is make garden plots and fireplaces not be able to walk or climb on like how barrels currently are not able to be used for boosting.

A simple solution in my opinion, or at very least give us a opinion for owners to make garden plots, fireplaces or maybe even barrels too to be able to be toggled on and off server settings to prevent boosting.

But honestly being a experienced player I can already foresee people will find or use other ways to boost into bases KEKW

Hi Bohemia.

Thank you for the continued support to DayZ. All the updates you guys do and effort put into this immersive environment is inspiring.

It would be great to see things like a smaller fence kit that spans a standard sized house door. Or like window barricades i think would make a much more realistic apocalyptic vibe to the world. Something like what is in the link I have attached would go down a treat with probably 99% of the Official community.

A few things I'd like to see added/changed on console and/or pc (I don't play pc often) ... First, why is it that when placing (NOT dropping) a refrigerator that this is the ONLY action that makes the character lay down to place... A little silly imo... Next, the ability to hip fire rifles, more specifically the automatic fire rifles... Absolutely ridiculous to have to aim everytime to fire... Sometimes we just need supressive fire to disengage/retreat just to keep the attacker(s) behind cover long enough to do so, should not have to aim all the time... Also, the ability to access our inventory or return fire when in a vehicle... ALL OTHER GAMES HAVE THIS ABILITY!!! Why can this NOT be done here - c'mon...
