This is the very best DayZ map I have found so far, it even uses the in-game grid coordinates so you can tell exactly where you are. The map is also updated all the time.

Maybe sticky?

I personally think that these maps are the WORST thing you can do to such a game.

Isn't it all about surviving?? This also means exploring and getting to know your surroundings. And not ALT-Tabbing to a Map in which everything is listed in detail.

:(

A map is a map.

I don't use them for looting, however. So it might be a different story.

If you're going to use a map I suggest dayzmap.info

Just type that into the URL

I suggest it because:

1) No advertisements

2) You can type in the search bar in the top left what item you want and it'll locate the potential spawns

3) I'm used to it now

I use this map now - I previously used two maps, but this basically combines them.

+1 cheers! :D

Ok serious question, see those dog houses or whatever? Apparently they have loot, but I have never found any near them. What gives?

I use a map but mainly for finding my way to follow landmarks to get from one point to another. I then just search for loot. I think without a map and no ingame map/compass you will end up wandering around alot and getting lost....
