Installing Dayz: Private MIlitary Company

I have read all the instal guides for Dayz. I know what to do. But must I do anything differently if I have Private Military Company, or will the high-res character models already be there if I instal the normal way?

I bought ArmA X: Anniversary Edition back October. I installed DayZ manually before discovering Six Launcher and everything works fine. No special tricks needed as far as I know.

Okay thanks for the reply. You put the Dayz files in the Arrowhead folder, and didn't even touch a Private Military Company folder, correct?

Just install PMC like normal, start campaing and then quit.

That should be enough for you to now have sharp textures of survivor starting gear.

Btw if you want detailed texture for DMP camo + Ghillie suit, you need to have British Armed Forces DLC too.

This is a bit weird. I have neither of the DLC's, but I'm sure I have the sharp textures on the ghillie. I've only owned it once, but it looked, to my eye, amazing. Contrast to my camo suit which looks like a frog barfed all over it. No detail at all. Any idea why this is?

Hello there

You may have a US Ghillie that was in A2 hence the high res, but when using the BAF one you'll have the lo res.
