PC Stable 1.22 Update 2 - Version 1.22.156656 (Release on 07.09.2023)

GAME

FIXED

  • Fixed a bug where the firearm became unusable when closing the bolt with an empty magazine loaded
  • Fixed a bug which broke the placement of objects in the world

MODDING

  • Added: 'DayZPhysics.EntityOverlapSingleBullet' to only check collision against a single entity
  • Fixed: 'DayZPhysics.EntityOverlapBullet' would not work when the passed in entity was a skeleton (e.g. House)
  • Fixed: Event 'EEOnHitByRemote' would not fire for firearm shots

Hmmm... I didn't notice any changes. The problem with reloading the magazine remained after the update.

After a few more tests it doesn't seem to be the hit registration, but the damage calculation. 8 pellets to the body and the infected didn't even show a stagger animation. We had this problem a few patches ago already. Did you use old code accidentally?

Well, I am able to reload by hitting R... unfortunately the weapon will not chamber a bullet after the first mag runs out so I cant shoot with a full mag.  But I can swap out full clips all day.  It was better before the "patch"... at least players had a work around. Now they just have paper weights that look like guns.

We also have issues with cable reels coming unplugged from the power source when you plug them into what you want powered since the 1.22 update.

Vehicles are also randomly disappearing since the 1.22 update. 

Oh, if anyone dies, they have to exit the game to respawn. If they opt to hit respawn they just get a black screen that persists until their game crashes since the 1.22 update.

Hello administrator several servers and I have noticed that since today's update no server raises more than 1300 FPS in the console, previously I had a minimum of 4 to 5K FPS on my servers, and I comment that this happens on servers of different companies, as I mentioned before I manage several servers and they are located in different areas and with different configurations, but now none reaches more than 1300 FPS, and I repeat this happened after today's update

PC Stable 1.22 Update 2 - Version 1.22.156656 - Hi is there some way of knowing what files have been altered in any updates - So it is easier to do a compare files for updating a server ? thanks.

The issue remained for the guns that were already broken. Have you tried any new guns after the hotfix?

so when will you actually fix the bug with weapons errors? people are still complaining about errors in the logs, there is still a reload on R, there are still bugs... and when will the server finally produce a normal tick rate on powerful processors like 12700k, and then FPS 25k on empty... on an almost vanilla server, mods 5 are worth the admin panel type and changes in sounds, and on a custom server where there are about 30 mods, the server FPS (tickrate) drops to 100-1000 30+ people and when empty 10-12k (ok mods eat up, but still! There’s even a script to slow down other scripts that it doesn’t work well, but... vanilla also has the same script) and your server is also very dependent on the frequency of the processor and does not know how to use more processor cores and more memory than it needs, teach it to eat memory cores, if of course you have such an opportunity?? , otherwise it’s 64GB of RAM and the server doesn’t want to load more than 6-7??? approximately, something needs to be done with server optimization and I would like to switch to Directix 12 or other APIs, move your buns, otherwise the latest updates look very very bad and boring, a whole bunch of problems: nav mesh maps .. zombies walking through textures, flying bears to which you have also attached a collision... for which it is now even easier to fly... into space broken down cars that drive like crazy without edits to the config, it’s better not to drive the problem with blood hanging on the player’s screen already which patch is a bug... and many others problems that you pretend that everything is ok and how it should be, but... you need to fix it? when will the new construction take place? emphasis on PvE mechanics and not pvp (the shore military man was killed in the back by the shore) focus on PVE mechanics construction crafting workbench and so on this is a game about survival and not about post-shooting and there is no need to twist realism you need to tell yourself about the stop valves that this is a game when they will be added new diseases?? simple banal ones: where will the new drug need to be used? tetracycline and charcoal cure almost everything in the game, is it too much, do you want to attract an audience? make Livonia Free and those who bought it give them some unique item or achievement Livonia is bought only at a discount in most cases if it were free you would get much more online in the game, in Chernorussia there were big changes a long time ago when the map will be renewed at the heater I think it's time? and this is only a small honor that I remembered I’m still playing with dayz mod on Arma 2 when I still had to buy Arma2 operation arrow, the game moves yes but it’s very slow

"weapon will not chamber a bullet" - would you please have a video? Is the gun pristine? Is this for one gun or for all your guns? Issue with reload as mentioned above

Nothing has changed from 1.22 to 1.22.1. What do you mean by 8 pellets, as in shotgun? Would you please have a video?

Are you talking about mission files or data?
If it is mission data, you can check diff directly on our github.

Yes i was talking of 12ga Buckshot fired with MP-133 or Saiga shotgun. Aiming center of body with ads (no hip fire), distance: 2-4m, target: infected with no protection gear, result: infected shows a smal caliber hit reaction and you have to shot a second time. This happens about 50% of the time and it's not a 1.22 to 1.22.1 problem, it's a 1.21 to 1.22 problem, still present with 1.22.1.

The 2nd problem i found: crossbow bolts disappear when shot from a short distance. Climb on a car wreck and attract a few infected. All bolts you shot will disappear after killing the infected.

Yeah. I'll clarify a little. And on my test server, I specifically did a wipe to check this. As a result, magazines began to reload normally. But the bullets are not sent into the weapon. But... the errors disappeared from the crashlog.

Well done Devs on fucking up the shotguns. AGAIN. Dayz is the longest running joke in gaming. Ya'll work about as hard as the mods do keeping the spam off these forums.

Hi,

 

Bug fix updates are always very welcome.

 

I have a couple question for future development. I find animations very clunky sometimes, not being able to quickly cancel an animation can be very frustrating. I also feel you should be able to reverse a vaulting animation.

 

Previously when walking from a ledge/edge you would be thrust forward, that has been corrected in a recent update, now however when sprinting from a ledge you fall vertically, which can also be as annoying as the previous mechanic.

 

Hackers are also still a big problem on official servers, is an ingame reporting system ever going to be introduced so that something could be done about them.

maybe cancel it before it completes?

as an example:  climb a deerstand, see there's nothing up there when you reach top of ladder and cancel the climb action before you fully climb up onto it... or climb a wall, see what's on the other side, decide you want none of it and drop back down same side you started on.

 

at least that's what i take from it 😉

i reported this issue in dayz feedback years ago. but it still didnt got fixed.
When u hold R button to reload ur gun, sometimes simply it doesnt work and u have to do it manually ( drag and drop )
the reason i think (im not sure if this is the cause)  happens is because if the inventory is full and current magazine is vertical and the magazine that u want to reload is in horizontal, then Holding R for reloading will not work.
