The raincoat should attach to the player's back instead of the torso

That way it could protect the player's torso, pants and even head. You know, like an actual raincoat.

Yes.  Attach to the head.  Probably no clipping issues.  I swear, raincoats have never been suggested before.

Nah, back not head, otherwise it'd have no drawbacks.

You mean like clipping other clothing items?  Check out the other dozen threads about this, maybe.

People did suggest layered clothes before, and I must agree that it should be possible to have multiple layers. For now it is how it is, sadly.
