When crouching, the character should make an effort to 'stifle' coughing & sneezing

Recommended Posts

Not to make it utterly silent necessarily, but it would be more ideal when trying to sneak around if other players are nearby - of course in a real scenario you'd likely be quite capable of suppressing as much noise as possible.

Or,  perhaps alternatively it could happen less frequently when crouching.

Hahaha yes this is a good idea. It's very funny when someone is trying to hide and they sneeze loudly. I can suppress my sneeze very effectively in real life.

Maybe if you stifle it too hard you end up farting instead.

😆

As long as the farting was quieter than the sneezing, I guess that would work!

Maybe they should have a sneeze meter when you're sick.  Watch it fill up before a sneeze and then if you time it right, press a button to completely suppress it.  You can, afterall, stop a sneeze IRL by holding your nostrils closed.  Totally necessary for survival.
