Food Consumption Adjustment

Recommended Posts

Survivors should not be able to eat or drink whilst wearing gear that covers their mouths.

Such as: Bandanas, Motorcycle Helmets, Ski Masks or anything that covers our mouths.

I’m a stickler for realism and for some reason this bugs the shit out of me.

I'm a bit split on this one. I agree that the game should orientate on realism but this one isn't really combat relevant and just would eat up time.

On the other hand it is ridiculous when you puke through the motorcycle helmet.

No more ridiculous than not being able to open the visor ;)

Or when your folding stock cannot fold so you rename it as light buttstock. Also if I was wearing a ski mask and wanted to drink I could just hold the mask in my other hand while I drink or even pull it down to uncover my mouth, unfortunately in DayZ I can't do that so where is the realism there ?

Also i think that food consumption has to be increased when you're carrying a lot of weight

Agreed. Nothing stranger than jogging a marathon with 80lbs of equipment and being just fine afterwards.
