Amunition Refil Glitch Fix - Requires feature to combine partially used mags

Ok, So the glitch to refill partially used magazines is finally going to be fixed, but now we are going to have a huge problem with people dumping almost empty mags everywhere....

SO

Before Rocket implements the fix for the ammunition glitch then he should implement a feature the lets you combine same type ammunition into a full/partial mag

Example, I have 5 STANAG rounds with 3,6,6,8 and 7 rounds left in the magazines. I can combine them to make one full 30 round STANAG clip.

"Why don't you just use the rest of you magazine and then reload when it's empty?"

Out of habit I automatically use a fresh mag after each combat encounter. I do not want to have to fight another player with just 4 rounds in my current mag.... Because that is just a stupid thing to do.

It is possible to stack magazines up to two per slot?

I mean your character can put 2 magazines in one slot, in my opinion it will be a bit more realistic.

What they REALLY need to do is : change the entire ammo system. Players should be able to find boxes of ammo, and have to carry them around. Then magazines can be scarce, and you have to refill your magazines when ever you can find some quiet time to do so.

I imagine boxes of up to 50 for pistol/rifle rounds and boxes of 25 for shotgun shells should do it. That's what you'd find laying around most of the time, if you were lucky enough to find ammo. Finding spare magazines could, and probably should, be really difficult, usually having you resort to taking the magazine when you find a gun, but leaving the gun behind (every gun found should include a magazine to start with).

Yes yes I read that, but if you read my OP that is NOT what I am suggesting

Ammo quantity tracking, Is that for all bullets in your inventory/bag/tent or just for each individual clip?

Is it safe to assume that If I Log out with my inventory full of partially used mags that they will all combine together? (Combining partially used magazines IS my Idea)

Or that they will remain as several individual magazines which hold true to their ammunition quantity?

Oh, nevermind then. My bad, I was kinda focused on the ammo glitch thing...

I think that when reconnecting, you will have the exact same number of rounds in your mag that you had when you disconnected. So with this patch, no more ammo glitch. Bullets won't be put together in a new full mag I think.

Thats what I thought.

Who bets there's going to be a stability issue with all the half used mags laying about....

And the sorry butts who find a pile of ammunition loot only for them all to have 1 round left in the mag?
