PoppaSlap YaFace 2 Posted December 30, 2021 Zombies should not be able to cut you through your gear if it is in worn or better condition. There's no sense in getting cut in a full protective outfit from one swipe of a zombie's hand. If my skin isn't exposed why do I get cut every other hit?!
Homeschooliazon 87 Posted December 30, 2021 Maybe bomber and riders jackets help. I always wear the best armor i can find and a riders or bomber jacket, i rarely bleed. It could just be an illusion though.
DayzDayzFanboy 1280 Posted December 30, 2021 Yeah, I definitely don't get cut every other hit. Occasionally if I've been mobbed by a couple I generally get a cut but not that often.
DefectiveWater 539 Posted December 30, 2021 I don't get how zombies make you lose blood so quick anyway, they became the Wolverine from X-Men? I mean it's not every other cut, but still... I would rather prefer they do more health and shock damage instead of bleeding.
General Zod 1118 Posted December 30, 2021 They have be a threat somehow, they deal very little health damage, they are easy to kill and avoid. Even if they knock you out they don't hang around to batter you more when you wake back up. If they did more health and shock damage putting on protective gear would make fighting even a bigger group of them quite easy. Now there's as element of urgency when they make you bleed. You have to disengage and tend to your wounds or you die.

Wasn't this game supposed to be authentic and somewhat realistic? What's the bleeding rate between a zombie hit and a .308 win, if anyone knows? 1 hour ago, General Zod said: If they did more health and shock damage putting on protective gear would make fighting even a bigger group of them quite easy. Kinda the point of protective gear, to protect you from weak stuff/melee. Not to make pristine stab vests save you from a .308... STAB vests... Not only do you survive, but you are left on 25 HP if not more. STAB vest btw Emphasis on STAB... Edited December 30, 2021 by DefectiveWater
nemorus 266 Posted December 30, 2021 😉 died a few days back because of one scratch from random zed. Was wearing top of the line equipment which had zero impact on combat protection. 50% blood gone in a few minutes from one cut. BTW. Wearing no shoes can also produce bleeding but the loss is so much lesser... To the point that some people ignore it.

nemorus 266 Posted December 31, 2021 Couldn't use one because i was chased by two zeds and there was about 10 more in vicinity. No to mention two armed players no more than 200 meters away from my initial spot. I have retreated to the nearest house only to be blocked off by another infected, which spawned right at the entrance and did not fall after tanking few quick hits from me. DefectiveWater 539 Posted December 31, 2021 I tested it out quickly yesterday, took 5 mins but my wound healed and my blood was flashing red. I was full on blood at the start, and approx 75% HP. At least I didn't bleed out, but it's still silly that zeds make you bleed that quick. Wish I could compare that to .308 somehow.

Name a server and a location that that can be arranged, I have a Tundra.

I’ve done some stuff without shoes as a freshie, and one cut on my foot almost runs me out of blood. Like flashing red. Kinda ridiculous. I do agree with looser fitting clothing protecting from cuts. I spawned in, ran without shoes until I got a cut, then put shoes on. Started at full, didn’t get attacked by zombies.
