Sitting crossed aiming?

Would it be possible for us to have the ability to aim while sitting crossed since we already have the gun out and it since it takes so long to stand giving you the ability to aim again?

would be nice to be able to dabble with inventory too. Also access inventory while in a car... absolutely stupid that you can't even eat or drink, load mags or turn on/off nvgs etc while a passenger in a vehicle
