Disinfecting water bottles/canteens...

I noticed the alcohol tincture and/or disinfectant spray can no longer be used on water bottles or canteens to clean them???!! Only use is for wound's??!! So pretty much now anything we drink out of makes our character sick??!! Its ridiculous and pretty damn annoying. There is enough "sicknesses" in this game already, let alone this never ending dehydration thing that continually has players f11'ing every character of theirs in 10 mins. Please add this content back cause we are all fed up listening to coughing and sneezing for hours.. 🙄🤔😒

there's no need (for now) to clean containers. not the containers are contaminated, but the water in it.

what about the situation when one of the users is sick? Cross contamination, no?

no cross contamination, only the flew can travel to nearby players when coughing/sneezing in their face (if no face cover is used).

To make sure you are drinking clean water, boil it, get it from a well, or use chlorine tablets.  It makes no sense to use alcoholic tincture or disinfecting spray to “clean” water, that shit would make you incredibly sick, the tincture could blind you. (Real world applications in SHTF scenario.)

I've never disinfected a bottle. Generally when health stats are high never needed to disinfect rags either...
