finntux 0 Posted September 25, 2021 Hello, It was recently announced that BattlEye now supports their anti-cheat under proton. Their tweet says: "BattlEye has provided native Linux and Mac support for a long time and we can announce that we will also support the upcoming Steam Deck (Proton). This will be done on an opt-in basis with game developers choosing whether they want to allow it or not." What is Bohemia's stand on this?
boggle 53 Posted September 27, 2021 I too would like to know. AFAIK the devs have to enable the support on their end now
Baker. 1484 Posted September 27, 2021 I am beyond excited for the prospect, I was playing via virtual machine prior to Battleye putting the kibosh on it. Now I have to dual boot just to play Dayz, bums me out.
boggle 53 Posted October 2, 2021 (edited) Who is the BI community manager now that Baty is gone? Considering tagging them in this thread. If they don't know there is a demand for this, then they may not invest the time. From what I understand, it's very simple to update their battleye client to accept proton.
