Weapons in the back

Recommended Posts

A rope should be needed to hold weapons in the back. The weapons right now are like glued to the player.

Also, would be cool to imitate the Escape From Tarkov inventory system, by pockets and that kind of stuff. Keeping assault rifles in jackets is very unrealistic.

Greetings.

Perfect, it's simple to limit the amount of weapons players have and it would make the game more realistic in terms of the amount of things you can carry, well it would be very simple actually to be able to do this, but it would help a lot not to have multiple players with 2 weapons in the back. maybe also 10% slower if carrying 2 weapons back.

A sling as requirement to carry a rifle on the shoulder would be a sensible thing to add - as would not being able to bind quickbar slots to any item carried in the backpack.

I also agree long rifles should simply not go into bags and other containers that aren't physically long enough to fit them. Realistically you would not get a Mosin into a mountain backpack without sawing off the barrel (which, as it happens, you can do in the game - but it is rarely necessary these days since they fit in the bigger bags anyway).

Realistically gutting a chicken, cooking and eating it all while wearing the same gloves should cause sickness just as bare hands will. Realistically you wouldn't die of thirst in a rainstorm. Realistically shoes wouldn't wear out after a few miles. Realistically a raincoat or a metal helmet wouldn't get soaked in the rain. Realistically same raincoat would be donned over your clothes. Realistically in a world full of motorbike helmets you'd expect a few motorbikes. Realistically the cars that people owned in the gameworld would be able to climb the inclines on the roads found in the same world!

Realistically... one thing that Dayz will never suffer from is an attention to realism 😉
