Hello all, i purchased Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead about 2hour's ago, and i bought it via digital download The game is not linked with steam i purchased it directly from the source.

Firstly.

I have downloaded this tool listed on the forums to automatically update everything - http://www.worrom.com/ - When i run this is say's "Success" so from that point it's all okay, and the Program even creates the @dayz mod file that you all say need's to be created within the game's files in C/programfiles/ etc.

Secondly, I have downloaded and updated the Six Launcher.

Thirdly, I have downloaded and installed the update listed here, http://www.arma2.com/supply/game-updates As listed when you appear on that page i downloaded the following -ARMA 2: Combined Operations / Operation Arrowhead / Reinforcements Patch 1.60 -

So, Now my problem is whenever i try to enter a game via the "Six Launcher" If randomly select a server, or select one myself a little error box appears that list's this - http://imgur.com/U8MwM - that is the first issue, The second issue is when i click that box off and open the game i get another error in the game that says - No Entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgCehicles/Citizen1.scope'.

And lastly my third problem, When i click "ok" on the error message i just listed, the game has the load bar, the bar fills and some red text appears at the bottem left hand corner of the screen but it's too fast to read as about 2second's later it kicks me out back to the main menu screen of the game.

Im running Vista, 32bit OS.

Just wondering if anyone can help me please, and i hope this post provides as much information as possible.

I'm getting the same thing. If all we need is a missing file, maybe someone can upload the bits here so we can patch up. Anyone?

I hope we can get some help mate, i cannot wait to sink my teeth into this game with my friends and get our asses kicked untill we learn to ropes haha, hopefully someone can help us.

It would appear that this is my boo boo, and i purchased only Opperation Arrowhead as my file size is only 1.5Gig, So that mean's asking nicely for a refund and then buying the correct 2games, fail :(:(

Edit, i have found a fix for this issue at the cost of lower textures but the bonus is you pay less money.

Just buy Operation Arrowhead, and then download Arma2Free - http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14588 - This will give you the Core files that you are missing if you just Purchase OA.

Simple enough fix and it cost's you £5 Less, i would have paid the extra 5 but i feel this is a simple enough fix not to warrant spending any more money.

This game requires Arma: Combined Operations.

AKA Both Arma 2 (or Arma 2: Free) AND Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.

Buy Arma 2 or download Arma 2: Free

No. It's not a "fix." The game specifically notes the Arma 2 (or Arma 2: Free) requirement.
