Pets in game: You could use wolf animations to create dogs in game that roam around towns / roads and you can somehow tame it using raw meat, or they can attack you depend on of their status etc. Tame dog can follow you, over time he can be more polite and listen your gestures like sit, stay silent, attack, etc.. I think it's not that hard to do because like 70% of resources for it are already in the game. Only need to add few new animations, one dog model with like 3-4 different skin variants and its should work fine. Also, I would like to see a cat that roam a town, sneak around, jump on different small roofs and other stuff, hunt on small animals like chicken, maybe new birds animals etc. You could also tame a cat with some cat food / raw meat, and he could be like sit inside your backpack or on your shoulder and chill. When there is dangerous situation he jumps off, run away and wait somewhere near until its clear but still follow you from the distance to eventually hop of to your comfy backpack. Second suggestion is high of crouch. When crouching hold button + scroll mouse up and down to regulate your character height during crouch. Maybe someone will make a mod with a cat, but what you suggest is difficult. The pet behavior model requires a lot of resources to develop and the behavior scenario itself is not simple.
