HARDER BEARS IDEA

zombies got a buff. suggest making bears harder in this way: everytime a bear is killed by a player make the next bears to spawn on the server have twice the hitpoints of the dead bear. then keep looping this. so as more players kill bears the harder they become. as a visual indicator maybe make the scale the bear to be slightly larger as it has more hitpoints and make its fur tend towards black. this way the northern forests of Chernarus can become progressively more dangerous as more survivors come through the area! can have the server keep track of the spawning bear hitpoints and how many times players have killed them. would be interesting to see what hitpoints the bears hitpoints get to. hope it isn't 4,294,967,295.

Yesterday I was running in the north, I was attacked by a bear, 20 rounds from an AK-47, reloaded and a minute later another bear. And a third in 5 minutes. The second bear managed to hurt me. Blood loss "+2" - Lost consciousness-Injected adrenaline-Screen black-Bandaging. All the bears were killed. Somewhere nearby I heard the sounds of another one. It was scary, the twilight, the mad attack of the bears at close range. This is the coolest case I've ever played in DayZ. I think it is not necessary to make stronger bears.

holy crap 4 bears awesome!!! was this Chernarus? question: were you crouching around after the first bear attack?

yes, Chernorus, without mods.

I only remember that I almost pooped in my pants from fear (well, yes, you can say that-I sat down)

bigger numbers of different zeds ("infected"...) with different stats is more than enough challange for most people. For everyone else there are mods with chimeras and other special creatures from hell. Bears (like other npcs) are bugged. Can catapult through walls, run through windows, glitch onto roofs - so why making them even bigger annoyance?

no... maybe just give some HP buff to bears, but not that...

make wild animals attack players if provoked, like Wild Boars, and I'm sure goats would headbutt you IRL...

Bears don't need any buffs. Especially the one in the OP.
