H0uellebecq 1 Posted March 1, 2021 Hello, i have a Ryzen 5 3600, 16 go 3600mhz ram and a rtx 2060, and i still get stutters, im using a old hdd at the moment and i want to buy a SSD , is a "Crucial BX500 120 Go" or a "Kingston SSD A400 120 Go" good enough ? i know that 120 go is not big but ill only put dayz on it. Also , whats the minimum reading speed i should get for my SSD to run dayz ? i cant find any info about that on forums Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
McWendy 675 Posted March 1, 2021 At the least get 250 gb. You want to put your OS and your games on it. It has no benefit to Just put DayZ on there. Best bang for your Buck is a mk.ll goes directly onto your motherboard. But on a budget get a 250gb Samsung evo. Remember buying cheap means rebuying fast. Moving DayZ to an SSD fixed it. Didn't fix apparent memory leak gobbling more and more RAM and after 30 minutes, 1 hour, causing stutters and frame drops.
