I found my first christmas gift in dayz tonight!  WOOHOO,  Unfortunately there was nothing in it.... Its the thought that counts!

I found a Large Gift Box in Vibor last night, but it contained fairly low level loot, so I left it untouched for the next survivor.

Are they limited to towns having a Christmas tree in the square?

Umm I amnot sure- I have notseen a christmas tree yet this year & I found this small gift box inside a utility shed on the western outskirts of elektro. (where all the garages and large vehicle repair buildings.)

Presents appear anywhere, with or without a tree. The trees look cool at night, though I've yet to see one this year

Finally got my Santa hat back! Last year, raiders stole or despawned it shortly after its acquisition. Wore it once last year with dark jeans, dark blazer, and white sneakers. Then, I invited the old crew to share a case of Mad Monk... it was a good holiday party.  Memories... crew is gone... but the Mad Monk is still here!
