SHOE REPAIR

Recommended Posts

It's so annoying after they get damaged.  I can't even stroll the town without reaching for the duct tape.  From worn to damaged in less than 2 km.  Help a brother out!  Instead of wear/degradation per step being ~0.33, please adjust the value for Vanilla servers to approximately 0.12.

Thanks guys! Keep up the great work!

I'd just rather have one pair of boots last me one session, brosef.

Couldn't agree more.  Shoes are getting damaged much too quickly on 1.09.

I get that it's supposed to be a survival game and you'd eventually have to repair or replace your shoes, but I should at least be able to travel through several towns before they reach "Badly Damaged" status -- having to do it constantly is tedious.

Plus now with the latest Exp. patch, you could spawn with the shoes already badly damaged, so your feet may already be bleeding before you've even found any duct tape or replacement footwear.  That isn't survival, that's just silly.

Yeah I like to wear leather shoes for the swag, but they go from worn to badly damaged within a run from Kamy to Elektro. I agree that those shoes are not fit for the zombie apocalypse but it would be nice if they were actually usable. I cannot wear them most of the time since i burn through duct tape and leather sewing kits faster than i can collect them.
