Duct tape

Is it just me or is duct tape totally OP now?

Whilst I appreciate the fact it can repair some things, I feel the game is getting easier when you can use it to repair just about everything.

 

Damaged clothes -  No problem duct tape

Damaged weapons - No problem duct tape

Damaged tools - No problem duct tape

Damaged bags - No problem duct tape

Damaged shoes - No problem duct tape

 

I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me, but I just don't think duct tape should be the nigh on "magic wand" you can wave to fix just about anything!

It's changes like this that dumb the game down in my honest opinion and more importantly dumb down the whole survival experience/difficulty.

The game should be getting harder to survive, not easier.

I would much prefer that the weapon cleaning kits or sewing kits just had more of a chance to spawn and there was a tool repair kit or something.

I dont mind the broad range of possible applications for duct tape. I mean irl it is a very handy and diverse temporary sollution for alot of things.

Maybe duct tape gets IT to damaged/worn status and the proper tool/kit would make it worn/pristine status? 

Would be a Nice middleground.
