Whys it such an issue now? The spawns are noticeably lower on zombies, cars and buildings, and I'm in the yellow every 5 mins after only sprinting here and there.. never use to be like this.

Don't sprint everywhere. Food is meant to be harder to find now. Kill chickens go fishing and hunting

It's call SURVIVAL.  Like Fanboy said......don't sprint everywhere.  You think food and drink is an issue in the north, don't go south, then.
