Problems.

I had on NVG's the entire night, Put them on used them 
for an entire night on a public server, 
got back to my spot and relogged with the NVG's

and they are gone off my face, I've had those nvgs for like 4 weeks. 
I don't get how bugs like this are still in the game, 

 

also another bug, A few people I met we were playing together and we were all in the same place
one person relogs and ends up Literally back at the barracks we just left although we were really far from there,

please help me understand.

I've never had items just disappear whilst logged off, might be an issue with the server. I've had items disappear from my inventory, but I'm usually playing at the time and logged in. Or maybe you just dropped them by accident ?

I'm guessing your friend also had an issue with server synchronisation. Did he also have the same loot he logged out with or the loot he logged in with from the earlier playing session?

It's true....

We can use as many work-arounds as we can but the fact remains that there are some glitches / bugs simply out of our control with no way I can think of (or heard of) that works to mitigate them. 

I've lost items from inventory, etc. after logging off.  I've also lost things from our bases as well as vehicles that just disappear once we log back on.  ......vehicles with items that took hours or sometimes days to find / collect.
